The Buss–Perry Aggression Questionnaire (sometimes referred to as the AGQ or simply the Aggression Questionnaire) was designed by Arnold Buss and Mark Perry, professors from the University of Texas at Austin in a 1992 article for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.〔Buss, A. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 63, 452-459.〕 It is a 29 item questionnaire where participants rank certain statements along a 5 point continuum from "extremely uncharacteristic of me" to "extremely characteristic of me."
